This project works on one of the key components in audio applications which sound extraction and its processing method for multi-channel audio upmixing. The report will discuss about correlation based extraction methods and also work on the implementation of Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method to an STFT-domain representation of the original audio to separate it into primary and ambient components on the basis of cross-correlation technique. The project will be using audio track from video game and applying technique to extract the ambience after which, it will be implement back into the video to make the video having some 3D audio effect on the sound directional system.
