谈香港身份定位、时间和叙述 :以电影《无间道》系列为例 = An introspection of Hong Kong’s identity, identification, time and narration : a case study of “The Infernal Affairs”
香港已经回归中国十四年了,但是有关她的文化身份话题仍是备受关注的热点话题。香港文化兼受中英双方影响,使她有一种“混杂性”,形成了有趣的议题。“混杂性”涵有流动性、模糊不定的地带,所以允许我们对这样的现象进行解构和重读。后殖民主义的理论在殖民时期已经是一种流行的论调 ,对于解殖后的香港,论述中“殖民者”和“殖民地”的二元对立还存在吗?香港对自身的定位,对“九七”这个时间概念和话语权力的取向又是如何?这些就是本文要进行思考和研究的问题。本文主要探讨的三个面向分别为:“身份定位”、“时间”和“叙述”,并且取用《无间道》电影系列作为切入点。同时,运用霍米巴巴的重要论文《散播民族:时间、叙事和现代民族的...

However, discourses relating to Hong Kong’s Cultural identity show no signs of faltering. Owing to its British and Chinese Cultural roots, Hong Kong’s identity is intrinsically “hybrid”. Such hybridity is volatile, making it a worthy cause for study through deconstruction and reconstruction of representations. As much as post-colonialist discussions were fervent during the colonial era, is the bipolarized relationship between the colonial master and the colonized land still valid? How then, does Hong Kong perceive its identity in relation to the infamous “ninety seven” barrier and power of discussion? Hence, this essay purports introspection by examining “The Infernal Affairs” series in terms of “identification”, “time” and “narrative”. Babha’s paper on DissemiNation will be applied to facilitate analysis. |
