Summary: | Photovoltaic systems are useful in many applications around the world in many situations. The photovoltaic systems are comprised of photovoltaic cells, devices that convert light energy directly into electricity. The photovoltaic array or solar array absorbs energy from the sun and produces the output current. The solar array output current depends on the changing atmospheric conditions, the insolation level and temperature. In this dissertation, rapidly and slowly changing atmospheric conditions are used to simulate the array output current. |
