Summary: | Climate change is a major concern for all countries in the world today. In recent years, governments worldwide had placed more emphasis in implementing environmentally friendly policies. The Singapore government has initiated several environmental policies to promote environmental sustainability and reduce the negative effects of climate change, e.g. implementing smart meters in households. However, a two-pronged approach to address the problem of climate change, involving both energy conservation and the utilization of renewable energy sources, is needed. |
