Design and analysis of medium access control protocols in WDM optical networks
This dissertation investigates the problem of scheduling and managing variable-length message transmission on single-hop passive-star coupled WDM optical Local Area Networks (LANs)/Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs) subject to the limited number of WDM channels and a large number of user population.
