Description
Summary:This study examines the factors that lead to and affect the consumption of homestay tourism by Singaporean youths. With the increasing popularity of homestay tours among consumers, this study hopes to gain a better understanding of consumer motivations and attitudes towards this form of tourism, so as to assist tourism marketers in developing better homestay products for consumers, as well as more effective marketing campaigns. We used a survey instrument to collect data for our study. We conducted a pre-test before developing our final survey questionnaire, then conducted the self-administered survey among Singaporean youths. A total of 156 responses were collected and used for data analysis. We used various regression models to analyze the factors that lead to and influence the consumption of homestay tourism by our target group.
