However, the current application limits user mobility because they need to have a desktop to explore the Co-Space. With the increasing popularity of smart mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, there is a need to cater for this ever-growing audience. This project will explore and evaluate the possibility for running the virtual environment of mobile devices. The objective of this project will encompass three phases. Firstly, to aim to investigate and propose a suitable mobile platform in which Co-Space can be implemented on. Secondly, to develop a systematic approach and methodology of porting the application over to the mobile device, while doing a thorough documentation of the necessary changes, limitations, features and problems encountered in the process. Lastly, to develop additional features that will enhance and complement the user’s experience on the mobile platform. This includes proper user controls for a touch screen device and GPS aided navigation capabilities.
