This project involves the implementation of a self-practice tool and a video searching tool to help students prepare mathematics examination of National Higher Education Entrance Examination (NHEEE), which is a requirement for entering Chinese universities. The self-practice tool will focus on providing a series of past year NHEEE mathematics examination questions for students to practice themselves. Automatic solution checking is implemented in this tool to help students effectively identify mistakes of their answers, and a statistics of their performance will be generated automatically to feedback on their practice results. The video searching tool will be provided to students for better understanding and learning mathematical concepts and contents. By using a web crawler, a series of related videos links will be displayed when typing the searching items and students would click any of them to watch and learn. This project will only focus on mathematics of NHEEE. However, it can be enhanced for other subjects in future.
