Description
Summary:The aim of this project serves to provide an insight of how Ubersexuality has arose and is still in transition to become the main dominant masculinity in Singapore. Through men’s facial regime patterns and the presentation of face, I seek to prove the case that such a phenomenon is especially salient among heterosexual men in their 20s working in white collared jobs. What will be discussed is how men negotiate their masculinity that lies between being metrosexual as seen in their facial regime habits and hegemonic masculinity as seen in their overall presentation. What will also be investigated are the accounting social factors that give rise to the emergence of Ubersexuality.
