Many researchers have been find ways in the recent years to outdo the use of sand in land reclamation due to its high cost. One ways to resolve is using a new technology, Biocementation (or microbial cementation), this make it possible to replace the expensive sand with inexpensive methods using clayey soil. In this research, it explore the 2 clayey soils, Kaolinite and Marine Clay, and their possibilities to be use as the main components in land reclamation.
