I had always not felt comfortable in crowds or around strangers. There is tension and a sense of disconnection in me in crowded places. I am very self-consciousness and it stems from me feeling not being the ideal individual by society’s preferences. However, I have the strong need to feel accepted and struggle to feel belonged. In crowds, I found my desirable qualities, envy and happiness. I wish to be like them. Hence, this project is about the expression of the love-hate relationship dilemmas I have with the crowd. I wished to be accepted but I am afraid to reach out. The project was an expression to break through this conflict.
