Enhance young generation’s indoor life quality With the development of technology, advanced communication systems make people’s life more convenient, allowing them to spend more and more time at home. This seems true of, especially, young generations who spend more time in front of computer monitors in doors. This project aims to develop a new lighting system which can bring natural atmosphere to the house to enhance people’s indoor life quality. The final design of this product is based on the theme of the nature, which help produce the indoor natural atmosphere. This report records the whole process of this project in chronological order from the observation, motivation and exploration to the final concept development. The design has been done based on the research on lighting history and LED lighting technology. This report also documents the design progress from the tests of different materials and forms.
