The great dependency and high human traffic volume in the rail networks makes it a susceptible target for terrorist attacks. This project aims to examine adversarial behaviours especially in aspects of the execution of their attacks. The main implementation method, by the adversary, considered in this project is the detonation of bombs in the rail network scenario which is preceded by a survey of the area. The adversarial behaviours are then translated into an agent-based simulation application which provides a graphical and dynamic environment to further study how these actions are carried out and the consequences it may bring about. Adversary, civilian and defender agents are put in the same area to achieve a more realistic simulation where their interactions provide the basis for the unfolding of the different scenarios. The user can then evaluate evacuation or deterrence measures based on the results potrayed in the simulations.
