| Summary: | An intelligent chatbot has been designed and developed as a Cyber Tutor to aid the university students in their electronic learning. Armed with all the information that the students need to excel in their studies, as well as the ability to keep up with a conversation and vocalize their responses, the Cyber Tutor acts as an interactive virtual teacher to answer queries from the students and provide extra information to help them with their work.To differentiate the Cyber Tutor from a usual school’s online web portal, there is a
need to introduce the concept of emotion and personality to the agent. In this project,
we aim to provide another function and ability to the Cyber Tutor; the ability to
respond emotionally to a conversation and express such emotion through the visual
avatar at the appropriate times.
There will be a strong focus on the various emotional models of artificial agents, the
specific model selected and implemented on the Cyber Tutor, and how the model is
incorporated into the existing knowledge base of the agent. |
