الملخص:The rapid evolution of high density and radiation hardened programmable gate array chips make it now viable to design and implement digitally for high radiation environments like that of satellites orbiting high above the earth surface. Traditionally, communication subsystem of the satellite used to be analog hence suffering instability under high temperature variations. With the availability of radiation hardened programmable chips it is now possible to completely design and implement the communication subsystem of the satellite in the digital domain with higher reliability.
