Summary:Identification of suitable drug target is a key question in designing treatment for diseases. The size and complexity of these diseases' signaling networks make pure in vivo and vitro approaches expensive and impractical. In silico approaches to identify sensitive nodescan help to narrow down the target search pace. This final year project the author was taking focuses on building a visual interface to support the framework for identificationof sensitive nodes. PANI( Putative Target Nodes Identification) is a fast and novel algorithm that can rank and identify putative target nodes for regulating the activity of a particular output node in large signaling networks, and the prior version of this application only performs this algorithm.
