The focus of Nature’s Clock is to invoke viewers’ personal interpretation on the meaning of time. Using an external controlled mechanism and fiber optics to capture sunlight, the story of the life cycle of a tree slowly unfolds throughout the day. The effect can be seen from around 7am to 7pm, on a sunny day. Relying solely on sunlight, the design and effect will be dependent on the external condition of the weather and intensity of sunlight. Its soothing and delicate transition of the story of the life cycle of a tree creates a calm and serene effect.
