Description
Summary:Three studies were conducted in Singapore to explore the applicability and reliability of online administration of the Picture Story Exercise (PSE), a revised version of Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) (McClelland, Koestner, & Weinberger, 1989). Special attention was paid to picture profiles generated under three different samples and two testing conditions. Specifically, we provided data on test-retest reliability of online administration, activity inhibition scores, gender and sample differences between students and working adults. Results show that online administration is a potential alternative in assessment of implicit motives as picture profiles under different samples and test-retest reliability were comparable to previous studies (Pang & Schultheiss, 2005; Schultheiss & Brunstein, 2001). Additionally, there was no gender difference in n Affiliation for all samples.
