Students here take the O-Levels exams after completing their secondary school at age 16 for the Special and Express streams, or Secondary 5 at age 17 for the Normal streams. One of the subjects that are offered to students in the Special or Express Stream is Additional Mathematics, which consists of topics such as Quadratic Functions, Simultaneous Equations and Calculus. The Objectives of this project is to develop an “O-Levels” Calculus Questions Generator application using Java, as well as an online version for users. It is hoped that this application will be able to facilitate students in their learning of the topic of Differential Calculus and its various sub-topics. Several similar concepts that are available online will then be looked into in more details, with comments on them by the author, followed by a brief introduction to the technologies and softwares which were used for the project. This report covers the design, development and details of the project, starting from creating a whole new application from scratch, up to the point of making it available online for other users. It will end off with a conclusion as well as a list of recommendations to improve the project even more.
