The provision of traffic information has increasing importance in transportation management today because it provides time-dependent estimates of traffic flows on transport networks. However, the effectiveness of the traffic information on traffic management highly depends on the type and quality of information available and traveller’s compliance to follow. Given the traffic information, travellers would probably change their routing choice, departure time and mode choice accordingly. Therefore, it is important to study the travel choice behaviour of travellers and the impact of the uncertainties (travelling and departure time, routing) brought to them.
