Description
Summary:The aim of this project is to produce a functional application to facilitate the interaction between asthma patients and doctor. Usually doctors rely on the patients’ feedback on the effectiveness of the medication during consultation. Such feedbacks are often delayed for a myriad of reasons, making diagnosis difficult and costly. This application provides a channel for asthma patients to provide feedback on the effect of the medication on a regular and timely basis. Doctors would then adjust the administration of medication to better suit the patients’ condition based on the feedback. The project uses Android Operating System as the client side platform. Eclipse IDE is used for the development with Motorola’s MotoDev plug-in. The plug-in, which is a customized Android Development Kit, contains Android Virtual Machine for developer to test the application during the development process.
