The purpose of this project is to develop an interactive simulation program which allows users to learn about the concepts used for analysing deflection as well as help the users to solve the deflection problems. This program is developed based on the syllabus of curriculum MP2001 Mechanics of Materials. This program consists 3 parts: Lecture (teaching aid), Tutorial (practice aid) and Helper (problem solving aid). One of the main feature of this program is animation will be used to help the users to visualize the deflection of the beam so as to understand the effect caused by loads.
