Description
Summary:Countless number of innovations have paved ways for recent advances in science, technology, business and the overall well being of mankind. Yet several attempts to institutionalize “systemic, purposeful innovations” have not helped to ensure predictable output of innovations. This study is an attempt to understand more about the process of innovation and to offer suggestions to improve it. Using grounded theory methodology, the study is grounded around three varied and path-breaking innovations in recent history. The contraceptive pill, the Shipping container and Segway personal transporter.
