Therefore, an evaluation of the radar system is important. In this project, the author is aim to develop a java-based applet which can be embedded in the Web page using HTML to simulate the radar performance. With the help of the program the user can easily calculate the radar detection range and get the Range versus Peak power Pt, Range versus Antenna gain and Range versus Signal to Noise Ratio diagrams as well The report is developed into five parts. The first part is going to introduce the backgrounds of the radar; the second part is about how the program is designed; the third part gives the testing result of the program and the forth part talks about the problems and the future recommendation. At last, in the fifth part, a short conclusion is given.
