All costs and benefits should be considered to ascertain whether a project is to be both financially viable and economically sustainable over time. The objective of this project is to do an economic and financial feasibility study of Photovoltaic electricity generation. The end goal will be to identify the common schemes of photovoltaic electricity generation, and whether the present emphasis on the development of photovoltaic energy is actually worth it or not by doing an expansive quantitative analysis that takes into consideration of the technical, economical, social and environmental aspects. An evaluation of photovoltaic in comparison to other energy resources will be performed.
