The animation courseware for the Computer Communication course module is designed to provide interaction with the student and to make the content of the course material more illustrative to the student. The animation courseware is developed for E-learning use and hope to make the E-Learning entertaining and educational. In this report, some background of E-Learning and the reason behind its popularity as well as the background of the Flash animation and ActionScript are shown. The development of the animation courseware is described in the report as well. Various Flash animations were created based on selected course materials of the Computer Communication course module and the implementation of the ActionScript on the Flash animations are demonstrated and explained in this report. The development tools for this project, Macromedia Flash Professional 8 and TTSReader, are also introduced and demonstrated in this report. Some design theories are introduced in this report and will be followed for the development of the project. Lastly in this report, some recommendations are suggested to integrate the animation courseware into PowerPoint slides for lecture or mobile phone to enhance the student learning process.
