Summary:Infrared technology has been widely and thoroughly experimented for human-computer interaction for its simplicity and low cost. Wiimote made by Nintendo is an innovative game console, which is equipped with an infrared camera, capturing infrared emission and recording the x, y coordinates of the source. In this project, a well-modeled shadow puppet is built in Flash, and controlled by using Wiimote and infrared LEDs. In this report, the design and implementation of Wiimote-Flash connection, control, virtual puppet design and visual effects, by using open source API WiiFlash and Box2D, are presented.
