Supply Chain Management has evolved over the years. Today, businesses aim to meet satisfy customers expectations in the most cost effective method. Distribution is a key factor in many supply chains today and to be a leading competitor in the global market today, many businesses focus on distributing products to customers in the quickest and most cost effective method. A strategy has to be in place for businesses to remain competitive in the industry. Cross docking is valuable part of strategy that many companies have adopted in their distribution strategy.
