Summary: | The purpose of this project is to conduct an experimental investigation using hot-wire anemometry on indeterminate-origin jet flow fields at far-field regions. Using four A-notched and V-notched nozzles with different relative sharpness, their effects on the far-field regions will be analysed in this study. They will be benchmarked against a conventional non-notched circular nozzle. The two main areas of interest are the velocity and turbulence intensity profiles along the cross-stream direction. |
