Description
Summary:The experimental study of structural vibration has always been the focus for researchers to understand and to control the many vibration phenomena encountered in practice. Methods of vibration testing include shaker testing and impact hammer testing. This project focuses on vibration analysis of the A4 aircraft wing structure by impact hammer testing. Prior to testing, initial preparation and measures were be taken to improve the accuracy of the experiment. Analysis was carried out on frequency response functions (FRFs) and mode shapes of the wing structure were determined. This study would form the basis for the experimental results to be compared with mathematical model and finite element analysis (FEM) for modal validation.
