Description
Summary:Carbon nanotubes are among some of the most intriguing materials for the development of sophisticated engineering materials for advanced applications in the modern world. Huge amounts of effort have gone into this frontier of research. Their exceptional mechanical characteristics make them suitable candidates for reinforcement of aluminum matrix composites. Aluminum matrix composites have wide prospects of application in aviation, automobile and spaceflight industries. Until now however, there has been limited research on the wear behavior of CNT reinforced Al matrix composites.
