Description
Summary:A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is an autonomous wireless mobile network that does not rely on any fixed infrastructure or centralized administration, and its distant nodes communicate through multi-hop paths. With the increasing need of group communications in wireless mobile network applications, efficient support of it is a critical issue. This thesis focuses on the research of four key areas of group communications of MANETs, namely group mobility modeling, network performance evaluations, clustering for topology control, and group partition prediction.
