Summary: | This research identifies how rainfall would affect high-definition video transmitted over satellite. Data observed in this research are: Rainfall rate collected from the rain gauge, this determines the amount of rainfall during a particular time. Video’s quality through video quality measurement metric such as V-Factor that rates transmitted video for instantaneous quality. Beacon signal which rates the signal strength of connection to satellite in signal to noise ratio. Using Matlab, data are analyze meticulously and manipulated through CDF and other method mention in this report. The author found that at IPloss of 70% and above the video will be undesirable for viewing. |
