Description
Summary:This report describes the In-Situ Measurement of Incisor Drift after Release of Teeth from Braces, by using MTI 2000 Fotonic Sensor. The progress and ideas on the fabrication of prototype, “retainer”, is documented. With the initial use of dental impression material to the refinement of thermo foaming, and hence rapid prototyping is used to make “retainer”. Solid Works (CAD) used to design the prototypes and also Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on final prototype using computer-aided engineering software, ANSYS workbench, to analyze possible changes in thermal and mechanical behavior of the prototype and incisors.
