This project is interested in validating the basic queuing theories in the real industrial world process and creates an improvement towards certain extent. The object of this study is the queuing system in the testing company. There are several approaches for queuing system such as: modeling, mathematical, etc. Hence, in this project the modeling software needs to be employed. Queuing model is one of the powerful and widely used tools to identify the system’s performance and possible modeling modification for performance enhancement, which is considerably low cost and short time. Several modeling modifications are needed to obtain the best output. Therefore, optimization in the system can be carried out. Flexsim software is used in this project, which is one of the best and user-friendly modeling software available in the market. After undergone several sets of simulation in different conditions, the observed results show there are significant impacts of having priority (hot loads) in the system as the priority increases the performance of the overall system becomes poorer. The existence of priority job may be advantageous if only the priority job gives a significant profit compares to the non-priority job, so the cost of postponing the non-priority job can be recovered more from profit gain by executing the priority job immediately.
