In recent development, the study of protein structures and functions is increasingly crucial in the field of medicine. New and advanced technologies in Virtual Reality and new tools to assist this venture into the amazing world of bio-molecules had been developed. There are many ways of viewing the diversified, mysterious and beauty of the protein structure using the Virtual Reality tools. These tools include the use of Computer Aided Design system and viewing of the protein structure with the aid of a monitor. With these systems, the 3-Dimensional view can easily be obtained. However, once these protein structures are printed out, it can only be represented in a 2-Dimensional way. This cause many frustrations as many detail are not able to be presented. Of course, there are ways in which the 2-Dimensional view can be converted into 3-Dimensional, but such a method will be costly and troublesome.
