Radon transform based automatic modulation recognition of communication signals
Automatic modulation recognition is very useful not only in civilian utilization but also in military utilization. Till now, much work has been done in it, including the identification and classification of either analog and/or digital signals. In digital signal modulation, quadrature amplitude modu...

Till now, much work has been done in it, including the identification and classification of either analog and/or digital signals. In digital signal modulation, quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) and Multi-amplitude Continu-ous Phase Frequency Shift-Keying (M-CPFSK) are particularly important modulation techniques. However, among the to-date materials, little works are involved in QAM and M-CPFSK signals. Hence our work is to find new algorithms on automatic QAM and M-CPFSK signal modulation recognition. We have reviewed the current work on modulation recognition of communication signals and studied the theory of the Radon Transform and its application in signal processing. We have looked into how to ap-ply the Radon Transform to the detection and classification of QAM and M-CPFSK signals.
