The application can collect data from the power system and then transfer the data to the Co-ordinator. Thus, engineers may monitor the power system‟s condition through the Co-ordinator. The engineers able to assess the power system safely by using this application Currently, the emerging of wireless network technologies brings a lot of benefits to people. It is commonly used in anytime and anywhere. It enables two or more parties communicate each other with a long distance by using radio signal frequency. One of the wireless network technologies is Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). It is used to monitor the conditions of a system such as smart lighting system, healthcare system and etc. Based on the technology of WSN, microcontroller JN5139-Z01-M01R1 and ZigBee evaluation kit are used in this project for implementing the application which can monitor a power system. The signals can be detected from the power system are temperature, humidity, voltage and light level. Due to the limitation of the devices used, it is recommended that the application can perform more functions by adding more programing function codes and installing more sensors on the device. Other than that, it is also recommended that a better feature microcontroller can be used in the application implementation. Thus, it can make the application performs better.
