白先勇的《孽子》作为台湾同志文学史上第一部以同志情欲为主要题材的长篇小说,在当时封闭保守的社会氛围中实属难能可贵。《孽子》被视为同志文学的经典,并且多次被搬上舞台与荧幕,不同年代的屡次改编,再再形成一种值得反思的次文化现象。1960-1987年可谓台湾“同志污名化”的时代,同志议题在政治戒严时期被认为是禁忌,不适合公开言说。处于异性恋体制的规范中,父权思想左右着社会大众对同志的价值判断。被社会与家庭放逐的青少年同志,为了逃离世俗的异样眼光,躲进了新公园里的“黑暗王国”以及同志酒吧“安乐乡”这些次文化空间。本文要探讨的正是这群“青春鸟”如何在主流异性恋体制的压迫下建构属于他们的特殊次文化。...

Widely recognised as a classic, Crystal Boys has gained widespread popularity over the years through numerous adaptations for film, theatre and television, shaping into a subculture phenomenon. Male homosexuality was considered a taboo during Taiwan’s repressive socio-political climate under the martial law from 1960-1987. Male homosexuals were violently suppressed by the nation-state in defense of patriarchal values. Expelled by school, family and society, these homosexual boys seek solace in the subcultural spaces of New Park and The Cozy Nest. This paper intends to investigate the formation of underground male homosexual subculture based in New Park in downtown Taipei during 1960-1987.
