The project group expanded on this requirement by adding support features such as game account administration and commercialization features to allow other educational institutions to subscribe to the game. The game program was designed using software engineering principles such as software architectural patterns and UML modeling so that the complex development process can be tackled systematically. The final product comprises a Microsoft ASP.NET website for users to perform administrative tasks and an Adobe Flash game that is embedded in the website. The final product is deployed on a PC in the Nanyang Business School Free Access Lab that runs the Microsoft Internet Information Services web server, SmartFoxServer 2X game server and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express database server. All users connected to the NTU network are able to access and play the online business games.
