Recent works have developed a new tool named “LDSplit”, which can provide a greater degree of assistance then previous technologies in this research field. LDSplit is an open-source software that could benefit the bioinformatics community. However, due to its implementation and its dependency program, it is not properly packaged for distribution and cannot be easily used. In this project, a web application called "LDSplitWeb" was proposed and developed to expose LDSplit to the bioinformatics community without imposing the limitations to its user. LDSplitWeb is expected to provide the same visualization and processing features. In addition, LDSplitWeb has developed to provide an easier extension of features and future services. This report discusses how LDSplitWeb was incepted and developed from scratch.
