Summary: | Recently, a number of digital image forensic techniques have been developed which are capable of detect double joint photographic experts group (JPEG) compression when the primary compression and the secondary compression have different quantization matrixes. But when the matrixes are the same, it is reported that there is no effective method for detection in that case.
The project “Digital video forgery detection” has been carried out to study algorithms and processes that were proposed in a paper. It mentioned a good technique that is based on the difference in JPEG coefficients of a JPEG image when compress over and over to detect double JPEG compression. This report describes and evaluates the algorithms as well as the implementations and results of this method. |
