School of Humanities and Social Sciences Nguyen Duc Quang DRNTU::Social sciences This paper explores the procreation policies implemented in influencing fertility rates in Singapore for the past 30 years. The increasing concern over an aging population due to higher life expectancy and lower fertility is the key motivation of this paper. Characterized by a strong interventionist state, it would be in the paper’s interest to examine the various procreation policies adopted and the key factors contributing to the fertility decline in Singapore.
