Description
Summary:This report discusses on the conceptualization and development process of the author’s Final Year Project, Murphy Stole My Work. Murphy Stole My Work is a light-hearted casual iPad game loosely based on the concept of Murphy’s Law: Whatever Can Go Wrong, Will Go Wrong, in this case with the author’s battle with social media as a distraction against meeting deadlines. The project started off as an attempt to develop an application for young children with learning difficulties and was evolved along the development cycle to become a light hearted game used as a tool to stimulate the mind of a learning child. The report documents the author’s concise research on ASD, ADD and ADHD, the challenges and difficulties she faced while addressing such issues, the reconstruction of her ideas over time and how she used a popular medium to deliver the message.
