Summary:This series explores the interaction between people in public spaces and the idea of the photographic moment. The artist attempts to stretch this truth in the photographic moment by combining different moments that occurred over a day. Within each narrative scene, the artist also implied his personal comment towards the underlying issues of the social environment he lives in. In an attempt to capture instants of people in action, this artist was captivated by what is happening beyond the crowd. In a fascinating reversal, the environment that usually functions as a background to everyday life comes alive while the crowd is frozen. The reversal of this active role serves as a means for the artist to find peace amidst the busy scene. Most importantly, it is encourage for everyone start appreciating the everyday environment we live in and breathe in. Slow down, breathe, and start looking beyond the crowd, beyond ourselves.
