Summary: | Physical education (PE) is an integral part of the education program. It aims to promote the optimal development of an individual - physically, socially, emotionally, and mentally - through total body movement in the performance of properly selected physical activities. However, in Singapore, due to inadequate duration and manpower to achieve the desired outcomes of the PE syllabus, students only perceive PE as a supplementary activity to enhance their physical well-being. Being passionate about researching this topic, Clement aims to find a solution, using digital and print media, to bridge the gap between the official achievement goals of PE and its purposes as perceived by the students. |
