الملخص: | Pearlite is one of the most useful microstructure in the world of metallography. Pearlite is very essential morphology in the world of steel. It provides better performance of strength and ductility in steel. However, pearlite will transforms into spheroidite after heat treatment for a long time. In this report, study was done to understand the theory, microstructure and behavior of steel by alloying with different elements, various percentages of elements, and heat treated in different condition. This project will mainly focus on how the heat treatment duration affects the microstructure and hardness of the steel. |
