Spooky Action is a mixed media, site specific installation that unfolds amidst opposing shop- house rows as they become a platform for the exploration of human interaction between specific individuals. The installation follows a Collector, Photographer, Writer and a Collective (a beer garden group that gathers at the local coffeeshop) in their daily life as they contemplate the curious events, and each other, in an attempt to cope with the boredom they face in the neighbourhood. Their fragmented stories take place over the week, where the action and interaction of the characters during the weekend are in the film components while snippets of their internal thought processes from the rest of the weekdays are expressed in prose passages.
