Description
Summary:Energy harvesting has gained increasing attention from researchers from all over the world. As it would be advantageous to implement battery-free power supply systems for portable electronics and wireless sensing applications, various researches has been carried out to explore the performances of different energy harvesting material and techniques. The most popular approach so far has been the conversion of vibration energy to electrical energy using piezoelectric materials. Vibration energy obtained from sea waves might be used to power lighting or some other sensing appliances.
