As part of lanthanide β-diketonates, Ln(DBM)3Bath or tris(dibenzoylmethanato)-mono(bathophenanthroline) lanthanide (III) is very well known as electroluminescent material due to high performance of red electroluminescent material Eu(DBM)3Bath. Using space charge limited current method, carrier mobility for each material was studied extensively. Further study on organic photovoltaic diodes containing Ln(DBM)3Bath complexes was presented systematically utilizing N,N’-Bis(3-methylphenyl)-N,N’-bis(phenyl)-bezidine or TPD as electron donor and Ln(DBM)3bath as electron acceptor.
